Nouss provides purchase-intent scoring for ecommerce stores. When you install Nouss on your Shopify or WooCommerce store, you are the data controller for your shoppers' data and Nouss acts as your data processor.
Behavioural signals generated on your store: pages viewed, on-site searches, scroll depth, media views, review reads, cart and checkout events, session timing and returning-visit patterns, plus coarse device and country information. We do not collect payment card data, and we do not track shoppers across other websites.
Where your store already identifies a shopper (for example a logged-in customer or a subscriber), Nouss may process an email address, customer ID and order history supplied by your store, solely to score and segment that customer for you.
Data is used only to calculate purchase-intent scores for your store, build audience segments you request, and deliver those segments to the advertising and messaging platforms you connect. We never sell data and never use one merchant's data to serve another merchant.
We use cloud infrastructure and, where you enable them, the advertising platforms you connect (Meta, Google, TikTok, email and messaging providers). EU merchant data is stored in the EU by default. International transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.
Raw behavioural events are retained for 13 months by default; aggregated scores are retained for the life of your account. You can shorten retention or request deletion at any time and we will delete within 30 days.
Nouss respects consent signals from your consent management platform, including Google Consent Mode. Shoppers can request access, correction, portability or erasure through you, and we will action verified requests as your processor. Contact privacy@nouss.ai.
Nouss is built to support GDPR and CCPA/CPRA obligations, including a Data Processing Addendum available on request.
